Stats - Website Traffic Guide

Did you know that you can view all kinds of detailed information about your website visitors in the Church111 system? From the home screen, click on "Stats" under the Admin Section. This will open up your usage statistics.

What do all these numbers and colored graphs mean? Here's what you need to know:

Sites (orange):
This is the number of unique locations that have visted your website. If multiple people visit your site every day from the same computer, it still only counts as 1 "site".

Visits (yellow):
This is the number of unique times someone visited your site. If someone visits your site once each day, each of those counts as a separate visit. Quickly closing and reopening the page is still 1 visit, though.

Pages (light blue):
This is the number of different pages that people have accessed. During a single visit, someone will probably go to multiple pages. If the "pages" number is roughly 3x the "visits" number, then on average each visitor looks at 3 pages.

Files and Hits (dark blue and green):
These track how many times someone has clicked and recieved a response from your site. These happen naturally as someone clicks around your website. They include files, images or any other content that has to load.

You can also click on a specific month on the left side (example: May, 2012 ). This will give you daily statistics and even more details, such as the most common sites that people came to your site from ( like Google ) and the most common pages that people were on when they left your site.
